If you’re new to dense urban driving, South Beach, Downtown Miami and Brickell can be the most challenging. They combine heavy traffic, many one-way streets, constant pedestrian activity and very limited on-street parking. The best strategy is to set a specific car park as your destination in your GPS. That way you park once and explore on foot or by rideshare, avoiding the stress of navigating congested streets.

A trip to Key Biscayne includes a scenic drive over the Rickenbacker Causeway. The two main beach destinations are Crandon Park and Bill Baggs Cape Florida State Park, both with large dedicated car parks. It’s best to arrive earlier in the day, especially at weekends, as these lots can fill up. Once parked, you can easily access beaches, trails and the historic lighthouse at Bill Baggs.

The least stressful way to reach Aventura Mall is to take I-95 North from the airport area.
